The Wimbledon Championships 2025

I had the privilege of working with a great team at VCCP to bring the concept of 'Tennis in an English Garden' to life for the 2025 Wimbledon Championships poster.

I reimagined Wimbledon as a garden, using the iconic green seats as the foundation for a flowerbed. The flora echoes the shape of the seats and small details like bees and butterflies added a touch of magic. Overall, I wanted the composition to feel inviting, as though the viewer were another spectator in the stadium.

My goal was to convey the essence of Wimbledon, showcasing the intensity of the sport, the thrill of the crowds, and the calm, natural beauty of its surroundings. Wimbledon has a magic of its own, and I hope this work reflects that.

The process consisted of a series of sketches and colour roughs differing slightly in composition and detail before finalising the artwork.
The artwork was also painted as one of Europe’s largest murals at 12 Tabernacle in Shoreditch, where the artists at Global Street Art did an amazing job bringing the piece to life.

It’s an honour to have my work become part of Wimbledon’s heritage. Knowing it contributes to such a historic and iconic institution means a great deal to me and I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity.
