I was commissioned to illustrate the cover and chapter openers for the book, Maya Angelou’s Guide to Hope. A book that aims to spread a little more hope with encouraging words of wisdom and inspirational quotes from Maya Angelou.

I illustrated a portrait that embodied hope and reflected Ms Angelou’s character. Highlighting her confidence, strength and resilience. Vibrant, floral patterns inspired by Maya’s clothing were illustrated for the chapter openers.
